About Artist Kurt Mueller:

Kurt Mueller has built a portfolio of totemic objects born of his broad interests in history, art, literature, and music...both ancient and modern. These objects are tactile, intriguing and illuminated by stories all their own. The art and the stories they tell emerge partly through their own nature and partly by what’s churning in his head and around him while he works. Throughout the process he strives to create objects of art that are meaningful, thought-provoking, and above all, emotionally engaging.

About Chef Jamie Malone:

Jamie Malone has always had a life that revoloved around food. She grew up cooking and baking bread with her dad in St. Paul, Minnesota. She has traveled extensively through Europe and Asia Studying Cuisines.

In 2013, Malone was named one of Food and Wine Magazines, "Best New Chefs", as well as James Beard Award Foundation Nomination for, "Rising Star".

In 2017 Jamie opened her first restaurant Grand Cafe, in 2018 her restaurant was a semi-finalist for the James Beard Award Foundation, "Best New Restaurant", and was also name Food and Wine Magazines, "Best New Restaurant", that year she was also awarded Food and Wine Magazines, "Dish of the Year".

Jamie has been a four times nominee for James Beard Foundations, "Best Chef Midwest" and named by Robb Report one of America's top chefs.

Most recently, Malone has created Paris Dining Club & Studio. You can find Jamie at her North Loop studiohosting events and creating new experiences for people who love food.

"Beauty from Ashes", is an exhibit curated by Art is my Weapon featuring multiple talented artists of different disciplines who created meaningful artwork from decommissioned gun parts collected in a 2022 "Quick Connect" Buy Back program developed to get weapons off of the streets of Minnesota.

The Conscious Kingdom is a collaboration of three of the Twin Cities’ most lauded creative professionals. Conceived by advertising legend and animal advocate Tina Wilcox, this project was years in the making. Carter Averbeck of @omforme_interior_design was commissioned to focus his Europe-trained painting skills on a series of backdrops to set the scene for Tina’s animal fairytales. Portrait photographer Shelly Mosman (@shellymosman) worked with Tina and Carter to style the backdrops into elaborate scenes showcasing each of Tina’s characters. The result? Thirty-eight enthralling portraits, each with its own enchanting story.
